WORKSHOPS

PRIMAL daNCE PATTERNS - ZOOM

Workshops are special-topic learning experiences and community entry points. They are not a replacement for assessment or private coaching when someone needs individualized support.

This workshop is a 60-minute live Zoom call to restore coordination through rhythm

Live Zoom limited to 10 people.

NEXT ONE-  SATURDAY JULY 11--  4-5pm Pacific Time

NEW TIME - SATURDAY JULY 25 - 8:30 am-9:30 am Pacific Time

Walking, catching yourself, changing direction, and getting up from the ground rely on coordinated rhythm — not force alone.

In this workshop, we explore gentle rhythmic movement patterns that help your strength organize itself in time.

You’ll experience:

• spiral loading

• elastic rebound (instead of bracing)

• bounce and push patterns common in older dances

• a few basic world dance patterns practiced with back-chain dominance and springy feet

This is not complicated choreography. We link at the most 3 steps together so we can feel the movement.

No dance experience needed.

Monthly Saturday at 4:00 pm Pacific Time

$25 USD PER SESSION, $20 each for a set of 5 used within one year.
