Learn to harness gravity so running and walking become LOWER IMPACT. This will work even for people who HATE RUNNING. My last student who had a nagging knee injury for months was BOUNDING and SPRINTING on the treadmill at the end of the workshop without pain!!
We will be doing a lot of movements that feed running that are static and micromovements and breathing drills that recruit more full-body activation that makes running safer.
- awakening the spinal engine
- integrated foot strength
- misconceptions about running
- practicing 3-5 short sprints on a treadmill and filming them in slow motion
- common patterns that cause pain and injury
- footwear
- daily movement practices to build organic alignment
- rebounding on the hard earth- bouncing, bounding, and shaking
